Dementia Empathy Training

Our standard programme is a facilitated learning session designed to help participants explore dementia from a different perspective and translate that reflection into practical improvements in their work.

Approximately three hours of facilitated learning
An immersive experiential component using specialist empathy equipment.
Structured tasks and guided observation.
Dementia-awareness learning and person-centred discussion.
Facilitated debrief and reflection.
Practical action planning for the workplace.

Participants should be given an opportunity to discuss accessibility requirements before taking part. Where an immersive activity is not suitable, the person should still be able to participate in the wider learning and discussion.
